
The Korea Display Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "IMID"),
the largest display exhibition in Korea, was held at COEX in Seoul for three days from the 25th.
A total of 240 companies participated in the event to showcase the latest display technologies and products.

A monitor showing measurement results in real-time with 3D inspection equipment is visible in the Philoptics' booth.

Regarding 3D inspection equipment, Senior Manager Baek Jong-hwi explained,
"After projecting a light source onto a special sample at the top of the display, the reflected pattern is taken with a camera.
It makes the image in form of 3D to identify distortion and check the defect."
He said that in this process, large-area and high-precision inspections are possible
by applying the optical structure and detection algorithm unique to Philoptics.
He also said that product inspection with various surfaces is possible by providing reflection type and non-reflection type.

Asked about the advantages of the equipment, Principal Manager Yoo Soo-hyun answered,
"The biggest feature is that large areas can be inspected in a short time.
Currently, it can be applied to mass-production as well as research and development purpose."
Philoptics is currently supplying 3D inspection equipment for OLED display inspection
and is planning to expand application fields such as secondary batteries.
As the evaluation and inspection process of products in all manufacturing fields is indispensable,
